Description:

These single use blood tube vacutainer holders have been specifically designed for use with BD Vacutainers®, in conjunction with a venous access device to allow easy, efficient, and safe sampling of venous blood.

Used by attaching a compatible venous access device (needle, etc) to the appropriate end and sliding the compatible blood tube into the holder until it securely clicks into place. With the tube securely in place a seal is formed, allowing blood to be drawn into the tube all while minimising the chances of leakage, thereby increasing the safety of the user and allowing them to work with confidence and also ensuring that your blood samples are contaminant free.

These tube holders are designed for single use purposes but can be used to collect more than one blood tube from the same patient. Supplied non-sterile they are CE marked and manufactured to European Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC with class I classification.

These tube holders are compatible with 13mm and 16mm diameter BD Vacutainer blood tubes and also BD BACTEC™ blood culture bottles.
