Shipping & Delivery Information
For all destinations, we aim to dispatch within two working days of receiving cleared payment, more quickly if we can! Please let us know if your order is urgent by emailing: info@theconsumablescompany.com
The cost of shipping will be added to your order during the checkout process, before payment details are requested
We offer a variety of shipping options to allow you to best suit your needs.
Shipping options:
Standard delivery – using the Royal Mail 24 hour (1st class) parcel service within the UK for parcels up to 2kg. Second Class is also available for this category.
The Royal Mail Signed For service is used for orders posted to some UK destinations at our discretion
Next working day delivery – for UK destinations, using the Royal Mail Special Delivery next working day service. Unless you ask us not to, at our discretion, we reserve the right to use a courier to provide next working day delivery; in this case, delivery may be after 1pm
International Signed (including where applicable, International Tracked & Signed) for the Rest of the World (ROW) – using Royal Mail from UK, and for collection from, or delivery by destination country local postal service. Delivery aim is 3-5 working days after dispatch for European destinations and 5-10 working days for the rest of the world.
Courier services
Your parcel will generally be collected from our warehouse the next working day after payment is received, sooner whenever possible, using a 24hr service.
All export orders fulfilled are ex-works (EXW) under incoterms. The customer/recipient is responsible for any duties/tariffs and taxes payable. When we ship on your behalf, we do not add insurance unless the customer requests this in the shipping quote.
Delivery aims:
For mainland UK postcodes, delivery is usually the next working day after collection
For UK-Highlands & Islands of Scotland (generally this means postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE) delivery is usually two days after collection
For UK-Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Isles of Scilly (postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25) delivery is usually two days after collection
For all other European destinations the delivery aim is 3-5 working days after dispatch dependent on destination. Since Brexit, we are experiencing delays in EU countries due to customs procedures.
We will use online tracking to ensure safe delivery of your parcel and email or text updates may be provided to you
Non European or destinations not listed – we will be able to source a delivery service for you, please email info@theconsumablescompany.com to enquire, as rates change regularly and we prefer to source the best rate/service for you at the time you purchase
