European tapered cork stoppers for sealing test tubes and other containers. Cork is naturally antimicrobial. It is elastic and non-permeable to gases and liquids.
These stoppers are made from the bark of the Cork Oak which is harvested from the tree every 9-12 years. Completely renewable and sustainable, harvesting bark does not harm the tree. Cork bark regenerates itself (and in doing so absorbs CO2), and cork trees live between 100 and 300 years. Cork biodegrades completely and is recyclable. Sourced from protected cork forests in Portugal.
